QBLIT FLOOR LAMP - PROTOTYPE DESIGN

BRIEF: To design and produce a contemporary, yet functional, cost-effective free-standing light, with one additional function, working within material and budget parameters. Material requirements were to ensure a minimum of up to 20% was metal, remaining material was to be organic, no more than 4 materials / finishes to be used and one re-purposed / recycled / sustainable material to be utilized. 

Size must not exceed 700mm (d) x 700m (w) x 2000mm (h). Manufacturing cost not to exceed R3,000.
